SHOW REVIEW: Muse and Thirty Seconds to Mars 5/22/17

I had planned a better review of this show, however, since I was unable to actually get to it in a decent time frame, I will just provide a short summary.

What I do remember, it was hot. DAMN HOT! Now, I live in Tampa, Fl., so any event that is outside in summer is going to be either hot, rainy, or hot and rainy. This certainly did not differ.

30 Seconds to Mars put on a great show as always. Jared Leto, ever the performer, is full of life and energy. He just simply knows how to work a crowd. He did manage to get out in the crowd during a couple of songs. Overall, was a great set, unfortunately too short I think. However, it was Muse that was headlining, so they got on stage, played their set, then got off as quickly as they could.

Muse also put on a great show. Quite a long set as you can see by the following set list.

Setlist:

Dig Down
Drill Sergeant + Psycho
Interlude + Hysteria
Resistance
Plug In Baby
The 2nd Law: Isolated System
Stockholm Syndrome + Reapers outro
Supermassive Black Hole
New Kind of Kick
Madness
Undisclosed Desires
Drum & Bass Jam
Starlight
Time Is Running Out
Mercy
The Globalist
Drones
Encore:
Uprising
Man With Harmonica + Knights of Cydonia

By the time that the show was over, I was tired of the heat and humidity. I really have to think about the next time I do an outdoor show in the summer.
