Napalm Death at Crowbar, Ybor City, FL Nov. 4, 2022

 Napalm Death is a British grindcore band that was formed in the early 1980s and is known for their extreme music style and socially conscious lyrics. They have a dedicated fan base and are known for their live performances. It should come as no surprise that decades after their start, they are still delivering stellar live shows that just do not disappoint.

Collapsor started the evening off for the show and while I have seen a couple of these guys in other bands, this by far is the best I have seen. They killed it and had the local crowd engaged from the start. If you get a chance to see these guys, do.

Going to cut to the chase here, because the other bands, while decent, just weren't terribly memorable. Napalm Death on the other hand, holy fuck! This is the best I have seen them in years. I don't know exactly how many times I have seen Napalm Death. It's a decent number of times and has been since the 90's. These guys seemed to kind of phone in the last performance I saw back around 2016. This time was not like the last. From the start of the show, it just went off.

It wouldn't be a Napalm Death show if Barney didn't get political and being in Florida, where we have an idiot in the Governor's office, Ron Desantis, Barney wasted no time digging in on Ronny's brand of politics.
